Hatcrete Dry Shake polished concrete.

Below is a concrete floor that has been dry shaked and polished. The colour added was steel grey, this mixed with the concrete supplied by Wrights produced the overall colour.

Always remember that when anything is polished it will darken the floor, if this floor was not polished it would be a shade or two lighter.

The dryshake is added at the panning stage of the power floating where two to three applications are made of shake. Once the shake is mixed in throughly with the fat of the concrete the floor can be bladed and brought up to a fine finish.

If the floors are being left as dry shake floors often they are Pro sealed on the smae day, if the floors are to be polished later they would have a pentra seal densification process or they can be watered for 7 days.

Once cured these floors are much harder so work well in commercial environments and often give better stain resistance.
